Collaborative, Community Approach

Volunteer mentors create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment where kids and adults participate together in activities based on needs and interests. Activities build rapport, engage youth, broaden horizons, and can include homework help, art, sewing, cooking, basketball, and more. Small communities are formed.
Details:
"Community" offerings include a lunch program for late elementary schoolers, two middle school afterschool groups, and a new lunch program for high schoolers. Each community is unique, and we will work with you to find the best fit.

Programming takes place across several locations in Northeast Seattle, near Greenlake, University District, Roosevelt, and Magnuson Park. The commitment is flexible: once weekly at one location, for at least one semester.
